You can have information about the memory usage displayed in a tool tip by resting the mouse pointer over the Memory indicator bar at the left of the status bar.
The Memory indicator bar displays information about the current memory usage, with the full length of the bar corresponding to the total amount of the reserved memory (by all Radio Explorer windows), and the filled part of the bar corresponding to the amount of the actually used memory (also by all windows).
As you open schedules, the amount of the used memory will increase, and in response to that Radio Explorer may reserve more memory. When the amount of the used memory approaches the amount of the reserved memory, the Java™ software, which is used to run Radio Explorer, may chose to free and reclaim the memory that is no longer in active use, rather than reserve more memory.
For example, this will necessarily happen when Radio Explorer reaches the upper limit for reserving the memory. The process of freeing and reclaiming the memory may take some seconds, during which Radio Explorer may temporarily stop responding.
The upper limit for reserving the memory can be specified when starting Radio Explorer. Please see the link below for detailed information.
